We spoke about:

- Early exposure to the front line of hard work. Growing up in a Punjabi family with entrepreneurial parents, Nimi was thrown straight in - spending her years in the family fashion boutique on King’s Road learning the ropes, but importantly, learning how to build business acumen and customer rapport. 

- Relationship building from an early age. There is a true art to building relationships and it doesn’t start with intent - it starts with serendipity. Serendipity can’t be controlled, but it can be found. In relationship building, you can do this through the nuance of conversation, finding the commonalities. Nimi and I found this through our early experience to family businesses and entrepreneurial discipline.

- Using technology and data to make better connections. A theme of this year that I’ve observed - how do we bring people closer to one another, but be able to use data to do a better job of achieving that. We also looked at the opposite challenge where the intricay of conversation in its essence allows us to get closer to one another.

- Using your unfair advantage in driving investor relationships and customer acquisition. Founders often find themselves doing something unnatural to what they know, rather than tapping into what they're good at. With The Table App, the best thing Nimi can do is to tap into the core of what she's solving and using it to drive the commercial narrative of the platform.
