Breakfast with founders š„ Today I had breakfast withĀ Rhiannon Coleman
Rhiannon is the co-founder and CEO of... our household.
Which makes me.. the other co-founder, but definitely not CEO šĀ
It's important to realise that everyone has their own version of challenges, opportunities and obstacles.
We spoke about:
- Our travel plans in the next couple months and between Christmas and New Year (where we like to take a bit of time to do all the life things we haven't had time to do)
- What we were going to order off the menu. We generally order share a sweet and savoury breakfast, that I end up eating most of.
- Breakfast with founders. Rhiannon was intrigued to know how the usual conversations with founders go and reflecting on the spectrum of stories I have had with first-time and experienced founders, with the varying motivations to start a business and their 'why'.
- A catch up on our weeks ahead. Working in very different segments, it's quite important to run through our various commitments to best help one another. We both have our own versions of 'crunch time' and it makes a massive difference being aware of that.
- Our current short, mid and long term investment opportunities. This relates to how best we spend our time and money.Ā
We then got on with our days in our different worlds. Whether partners, friends or family, it's important to realise that everyone has their own version of challenges, opportunities and obstacles. Even better, communication helps others unlock these from a different perspective.
This certainly wasn't the first time I got some for food for thought from Rhiannon!
ps. before anyone asks, our founder agreements are not vested.
