Katie is the founder of P3PRMNT - A brand that sits at the intersection of modern living and community.
We spoke about:
- Starting a brand during covid. Whilst chipping away at online university courses, Katie started selling reusable, personalised cups on Etsy. Within no time, this became 60,000 cups. Which made a lockdown project suddenly a lot more interesting.
- Creating a founder-led brand. There's no denying that building a strong personal brand and sharing in public can have an immense impact on your growth in the early stages. It makes P3PRMNT unique within the segment.
- Using community to drive customer behaviour and get feedback. Katie started a run club, invited a few people and now has started to gain additional traction through community and collab-led initiatives.
- Raising investment as a first time 22 year old female founder. We spoke about tapping in to your own strengths as a founder to navigate and network your way through closing you first raise. For Katie, it's not just about the funding - it's about bringing on invested investors. People who can help take P3PRMNT to even greater heights.
- Life as a founder. Sharing experiences with other founders is invaluable, particularly with founders at the start of their journeys.
It's not just about fundraising, sometimes it's about taking time to reset and get your mind out of the inner day-to-day stresses and struggles.
Founders who relate to the last bit, make sure to follow us both as we've got something in store soon for you 👀
