If you've ever gone to Brick Lane, you'll notice photos of celebrities on the restaurant windows.
Creators and influencers change the way we consume.
"If the Queen, Adele or David Beckham came here, it must be good."
The thing is, not every creator can create content that is valuable enough to monetise. But what if you could relive their lifestyle: The places they eat, they places they shop, they places they stay and the places they visit.
Adam is the founder of Lets Discover (DSCVR)
A platform that allows you to access your favourite influencer's recommendations at your fingertips.
We spoke about:
- Paths of least resistance. I always go on about how the average number of apps on our phones can be upwards of 40, only half of which we actually use. This means to acquire users (or in other words, them downloading your app), the value has to be quite high but also fits within their behaviour. Discover uses Google Maps as a starting point to allow for this and it's great. Getting users to slot in to where they already are.
- Leveraging multi-faceted technologies to cater for revenue growth models. Creating revenue opportunities for creators can also be accelerated by marketing channels for venues (restaurants, hotels and experiences). Loyalty schemes just aren't enough anymore.
- Understanding the market out there and the competitive space that is here to solve problems and create opportunities for the creator and influencer space. Inevitably, few will win the race, but some will be defining to the creator economy.
Check out Discover to find your favourite influencers or if they're not on there, tag their posts on IG @letsdiscoverapp !
Thank you as ever to Vestd for supporting our series!
