Be strong with your numbers. Know your numbers. 

Dan is the founder of Resooma which helps students choose the cheapest and most flexible bills packages on the market.

We met a few weeks ago at the TextMine launch party having spent the entire time making friends with the canapé waiters.

I'd almost make 'founder' his middle name, because this is far from his first venture aside from also supporting other founders in his angel portfolio!

We spoke about:

- The new world of content, particularly with social video being such a key part of B2C marketing with the role that TikTok and IG plays in this. 

- Navigating being a founder. It's certainly not easy, but frankly isn't a substitution for the freedom freelance life or supportive work environments. It can be brutal.

- Be strong with your numbers. Know your numbers. 

- How your hiring process can impact the culture you build in the early years. Dan shared a robust process in which his best ever hires were put through. 

- Respecting 1:1 time with your team. This should be taken seriously and canceling time with your team could have compounding negative effects in the long term.

- We both agreed that we would be terrible employees, hence finding an entrepreneurial loop that we'll forever navigate!
