Breakfast with founders 🥑 Yesterday I met with Izzy Prior
Izzy is the founder of Spark, that helps build personal brands for purpose-led CEOs and founders.Â
Izzy leveraged LinkedIn as a platform to tell her story in the last few years, which has taken her just shy of 70,000 LinkedIn followers.
But even Izzy says the numbers aren't everything.
Finding purpose in what you do as an entrepreneur on a daily basis can really help clear up your mind and core up your focus.
We spoke about:
- Creating authenticity and crafting stories that are actually based on reality rather than "here's how I made £100k in one email" type posts. Staying relevant on platforms like LinkedIn can really help solidify the efforts.
- A good personal brand is the one in which you are the same person in real life as you are on LinkedIn. Ben Gallagher, Caitlin Rozario, Carla Hoppe, James Roycroft-Davis - you were some we spoke about!
- The potential pressures of building a growing audience and making sure you aren't trying to live for the algorithm.Â
- Finding purpose in what you do as an entrepreneur on a daily basis can really help clear up your mind and core up your focus. It's easy to get carried away with always trying to do more and more as a founder, but stripping down to the basics is only a productive way to go further.
If you don't already follow Izzy, you should. In a LinkedIn world of far too many people trying to sell personal brand frameworks, Spark helps tell powerful and real stories.Â
