Breakfast with founders 🥐 Yesterday I met with Rafael Guper 

Raf is the Co-founder of UJJI AI ✨- a platform that uses AI to transform your documents into gamified training, upskilling and L&D

Sales sales sales. It is not what it was and more structure and process is needed to nail a sales process, particularly within enterprise sales cycles.

We spoke about:

- (Very briefly) the miserable London weather we had to endure yesterday in comparison to Brazil and Bahrain at this time of year - where we're both from!

- Raf is absolutely no stranger to the world of successful entrepreneurship having played a massive success within previous companies creating a the Brazilian Headspace-equivalent, serving 25million people and leveraging dog nose prints and AI as a means to leverage dog's personal identities (which helped missing dogs find their homes!)

- Venture capital and the rise of operational VCs (but not yet in the 🇬🇧) - the narrative of supportive and operational VCs are on the rise in the US and part of Europe, but we are yet to see enough of this in the UK ecosystem. It does also comes down to few operator turned VC figures. 

- Raising investment can weirdly be easier when you aren't thinking about it! Hear us out. You are unconsciously fixated on trying to get the next cheque in, meaning every interaction or conversation can have even the slightest tone of desperation. Taking that away and speaking about what you are building, your passion towards it and the proof can dramatically change the perception. 

- Sales sales sales. It is not what it was and more structure and process is needed to nail a sales process, particularly within enterprise sales cycles. But. There is no one answer and finding what works needs time, testing and reiterating.
